American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career by playing minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the character as reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also had a supporting part in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the season's third. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters from Family Guy's animated comedy series. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when she and her mom moved to California. They moved around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became attracted to acting, photography as well as singing around the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
